[Dshield] Giant uptick in Phishing/Vishing

Giant uptick in Phishing and Vishing for my company this week.    We 
were getting about 1 phish a week and now we're getting about 25 a week 
and so far two very good VISHING attacks.  They are very well formed 
emails and seem to be generally localized to the general area around my 
company.  The Vishing calls seem to be coming from an automated 
attendant so far in Canada and again localized to our area code.  They 
point the person to a URL (that changes) collecting userids, passwords 
and credit card information.  These are very professional formed and 
seem to be quite effective.

If you can believe it, I can't get any federal authority to care or 
assist in any email server take downs.  I would like to see if I can 
figure out why us now.

Any suggestions?
