[Dshield] SANS going to proctored exams?

When was CISSP respected?  4 years ago?  I haven't talked to anyone in the
past 2 years that respects it.  I think at this point it's becoming
extremely overrated, and is being aimed at the wrong people.
Forcing technicians to get the CISSP (which is largely viewed as a
management cert).. is that a waste?

But do you want someone working for you that can memorize a book and go take
the exam and then dump the info?  Or do you want someone who knows how to
find the answer everytime? (Google)
