  I'm agreement violently with you on this (is that allowed<g>?).  I've
gotten some "negative reactions" (understatement alert) when I suggested
that *LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES* do something similar to infected PCs
that are spamming/DDOSing innocent 3rd parties.  While I agree with
passive self-defense in the form of blocking, I totally disagree with
the concept of vigilante attacks.  Offensive action that destroys data
on a remote PC against the wishes of the PC's owner should not be
undertaken by civilians on a whim.  It is a serious action, and should
be considered equivalant to a police raid where gun battles may erupt at
any time.
