Hi,

I have a client with several AS400s on their net. Are there any issues with doing net scans (nmap, nessus, etc.) on AS400s? (I ask because I have crashed mainframe networking, HVAC, security, and other 'unusual' systems in the past!)

Also, anyone know of any good AS400 security resources? I see a couple of consultant-published books on the subject, but I don't want to drop a few grand on a book from a source I don't know anything about. Suggestions?
