What you need is probably an actual mobile browser and unless you are
using Opera Mobile (http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/) or Mini you
experience my be painful. Both have a "Desktop" view that will show you
the whole page and let you zoom to the part that interests you and a
"Fit to width" view that will reformat the page to fit you phone's
screen (no horizontal scrolling!)
I just check sans.org, isc.sans.org and dshield.org on my Samsung D807
(a "normal" phone) using Opera Mini (OM) and they look quite fine. OM
works on most phones that support Java and is a free download
(http://www.operamini.com/). It will automatically reformat the page to
fit your screen and save you a lot of money/bandwidth in the process.
You can preview how the site should look on your mobile here (requires
java enabled browser): http://www.operamini.com/demo/
Opera Mobile version is for "Smartphones" only. You need a good data
plan for this though!
You don't need a new of expensive device nor Firefox, not even a special
CSS (unless it's really nicely designed!) to enjoy the full web on your
cell phone.
Note: I wish I'd be working for Opera but it's not the case. I just like
their products!
Cheers!
