Something else that's worth a look: Ubiquiti Networks RouterStation and
RouterStation Pro

Both come with OpenWRT pre-installed. I'm waiting with baited breath for
the RouterStation Pro, which is just what I'm looking for.

Last time I went through the list of dshield clients for Linux I didn't
find anything suitable. In the end I wrote a plugin for ulogd that's
suited for an embedded device. It's small, native C, and doesn't have
any dependencies beyond ulogd and some method to email the log file.
I've been meaning to release it for quite a while, but it has yet to
reach the top of my list, sadly.

You're welcome to a copy, as is anyone else on the list. It's been
running reliably for me for some time. Perhaps if there's interest it'll
prod me into putting it somewhere public.
