Hi Jay:

for whatever it's worth, make sure you are a HIPAA covered gentility
before worrying too much. Unless you're actually providing patient
care, e.g. as part of health services, you're probably not a covered
entity.

'luck

	Subject: [unisog] HIPAA Question

Part of the HIPAA policy requirements include the encryption of
email being sent that has PHI data in it. What are other universities
doing concerning the encryption of email for this type of issue? Thanks
in advance for any help you can give me.
	Thanks, Jay
