Snort has all sorts of rules to alarm on web content. Many are using it to
detect attacks, compromises, malicious downloads, etc. I will continue doing
that and have not seen any angry mobs. To the contrary, it is seen as a
valuable service.

Ps. I have no plans to use snort to monitor for the kind of content that
*might* bring out the mobs.
