That's good to hear, then. I would have expected the products to have
grown up a bit since I last tried to use them. But I also know that my
children's friends at their high school have a list of ways to evade the
web filtering product used on that network; and as someone else has
noted, once you contract to keep that stuff away from your users, you
have an obligation to be diligent about it and may be liable for what
slips through.
I'm not talking about filtering for malware, but for undesirable
content, as I understood the original question. This can range from
prurient images or video to simple time-wasters like games or even ESPN,
depending on your policies. The policy here is based not on content but
on bandwidth consumption, hence my original comment regarding a user
revolt. If I've misunderstood the question, please excuse my mistake.
