[unisog] Content Monitoring and/or Filtering

Hi.
Here at UB in Australia, we have just implemented a Content Keeper
appliance to actively block adult content to those on our campus under
the age of 18.  

We have a duty of care to keep this material from the underage
population of our university and the Content Keeper appliance suited our
needs nicely.  Specifically when it came to integration with our LDAP
service as that is how we identify those under the age of 18 and all
users wanting to access the internet MUST athenticate via LDAP.

monitoring
or filtering at their universities.  

 

My CIO is interested to see if it is being done at higher ed
institution?  

What you are using to do it?  

What was the reaction?

What is done with the information when you have it?
