[unisog] cornell.edu blog being used for spam - and now virginia.edu as well

There was a person from that school writing into this listserv more than 2
years ago, but from his lack of postings since that time I'm guessing he
doesn't follow this list anymore.

I was more making a point in rebuttal to Gary who said that,
"To first approximation, universities are usually RFC 2142
compliant (meaning abuse, noc, and security at UNIVERSITY.edu
work). If one does not want to navigate the (sometimes
confusing) maze of web pages that some universities bury
their contact information on, one can/should try the
"required" standard ones. Works much more often than not."

Gary's response to Saqib's original post was not entirely unreasonable, but
my own experience has been that expecting action or a response from an abuse
submission is a total crap shoot.

You're think that the person is reading this list rather than the
school's abuse address, or you just want to try to shame the
place?
