The University of Northern Iowa is adding a new position to our 
fledgling security office.  The primary focus of this position will be 
in the areas of policy development and risk assessment.  If this is of

*PRIMARY FUNCTION: * Assists in developing Information Technology (IT) 
security policies for the university; participates in the effort to 
monitor, assess, and report risks and controls related to information 
assets; develops IT security education program for the entire university 
community; maintains IT security web site and other document 
repositories; interprets and assists in implementation of federal and 
state regulatory requirements as they relate to information technology 
and data; and monitors and analyzes IT security information as needed.
