[unisog] Replace or Purchase Nessus?

We will definitely be purchasing the license. It's worth it. Nessus forms an integral part of our overall security assessment toolbox and has been very useful. We haven't found anything that offers the same value even at $1200. For an annual license, that's extremely reasonable.

Just want to re-up this question, now that it is clear on the list
that Universities have to purchase (for myself I'm really not asking
for further discussion of discounts or non-profit exemptions, tho
maybe the list is interested... I'm more interested in how you
evaluate the product at this price).
$1200 per year... is it worth it to you? What else would you recommend
looking at? (as an aside, derailing my own question, anyone interested
in the 'centralized sensitive number scanning' capability they just
added or have you eval'd it? Looks interesting here.).
