Unix systems can be configured to use print servers too.  :)

We point a lot of our Oracle servers at a print server, just to minimize
the headache if we need to re-route a dead printer.  It's a lot easier to
do it once on the print server than have to go around to all the various
devel/pre-prod/prod instances and do each one (and then un-do it again
later.
