I agree that getting in the middle is not good, but having the knowledge of
who to send them to is what we needed.  I think the link Johannes posted is

No. nobody specific. If someone has a good connection, feel free to invite
them. My rule is usually just to refer people. As in this case, its hard to
tell what the real issue is and I would hate to get stuck in the middle of
it.

In most cases, the local FBI office is the right contact.
Most (all?) of them should have a computer/cyber crime unit
by now.
