I Believe that was the Winnuke days, fragmented packet contructed
a large total. Wasn't that the same exploit that could be used on
Linux too? Odd that the IP stack would act the same on both platforms.....

NT3.5.1 could be blue-screened with a large packet ping.  The big ICMPs out
there could likely fit that bill.  <RANT level=personal>Anyone running 3.5.1
