[Dshield] AOL rejecting emails ?

if this is nothing new I can only suspect the mail server
at my ISP isn't rewriting the envelope correctly anymore, right ?

Yes. AOL is refusing connections from "direct to MX" mailers, they will
accept connections from mail servers at static IP numbers. This is an RFC
violation, but AOL doesn't care, they are trying to beat back what they
one of the sources of spam.
