I think he was asking why there were listed there. That's all I was tring to

It's just computer browsing. Type in "File://c:" in the address by and
see what happens. (No Quotes) Then click the down arrow on the address
bar. Shows the same things as using your "my computer" icon. Clicking on
anything else from there will add those entries to IE's history.
