[Dshield] Slightly OT - Possible MS Patch Side-effects

Thanks for the response, but I have already checked that. We use one proxy
setting for all protocols, and they are still configured when trying to make
a FTP connection. This seems to be deeper than just the "surface" configs.
It has to be a registry setting or something else that is burined in their
*wonderful* code.

Its possible that the browser upgrades hosed the I.E. Connection Settings. 
Under the Advanced Connection settings on I.E. check that FTP has the
proxy address configured (check use same proxy server for all protocols if 
you use a single proxy server).

Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings > Advanced 
Just a guess, and possibly a threat to national security.
