Non-authoritative answer:
Name: crl.verisign.net
Addresses: 10.0.0.1, 10.0.0.2, 10.0.0.3, 64.94.110.11
                    198.49.161.200, 198.49.161.205, 198.49.161.206
Aliases: crl.verisign.com

one word: <sarcasm>Brilliant</sarcasm>

What on god's green earth are they thinking? I can't think of anything worse
that they could have done to "fix" this problem. Maybe they should have put
up a Snubby Certificate Rejector to reject all certificates.

Why are these people in charge of anything?
