In addition to a keylogger, they can also try using procmail to cc all of
the suspects email to another manager, directory, etc as necessary to
determine if they're passing company confidential info and such to
unauthorized individuals. Doing that will totally depend on how your company
treats email privacy though. Some treat it as personal mail while others may
treat it as company owned traffic. ymmv.
