The same applies to a lot of open-source projects too. Do you know there
are projects that, after being run publicly for years now, are still on
version 0.8.2? There are a lot of projects that seem to never reach
version 1.   :)


It is said that the Internet is a public utility. As such, it is best
compared to a sewer. A big, fat pipe with a bunch of crap sloshing
against your ports.
