Terese,

can you please clarify what "it" you are trying to get off your system: 
the Chinese emails, IIS, or Windows NT?.......Just kidding!

 It does sound like your system has been successfully exploited however. 
As a part of your cleanup, if you plan to stick with Windows I would 
advise moving to  Server 2003/IIS6.0 if your company can afford the 
upgrade cost which may also require some hardware upgrade as well 
depending upon the age of your system. As you are no doubt aware, except 
by special $$$ arrangement, Microsoft has stopped supporting server OS 
platforms prior to W2000 Server. Here is some friendly help from Redmond:

 Microsoft also has a version of Server 2003 called Web Edition that is 
priced specifically for IIS/www applications. Here is the url to a
