I would say that running those kind of applications will only help you
against 'known' threats. While SNORT could pick up a lot more, like
slight variations of known threats.

I was just curious which anti-Trojan software does this user group think

is the best and how do you feel about running them on an isolated 
production server as opposed to installing snort on the network.  The 
two that I have in mind are "The Cleaner Professional 4.1" vs. 
"TrojanHunter v3.1 ".
