- From my perspective the "old emails" are not old redundant emails at all,
quite the opposite.

Received 17 "old email that were flushed from the cache".

At least 14 (out of these 17) were actually missing DShield Submission
Confirmations and no redundant email that I would have received earlier.
(The number of submissions, which I had kept and which lacked confirmations
was 16).

Three additional emails, which I now also received were older (Dec 5, 9 and
12) and it may well be that they were missing DShield submission
confirmations as well. (In January I just deleted submissions that lacked
confirmations and that originated last year.)

It would appear that you actually found the black hole at DShield.
