A .mim file is basically a MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) file
usually it will be a "zipped" file containing multiple files..
I believe that outlook creates a .mim when forwarding an email with
attachments, as a new message. Some other mail software may also..

Subject: [Dshield] .mim ?

We just got a number of these with viral/worm payloads but what is a .mim
and what would normally generate one? Unless these are "normal"
I am inclined to just block them in mail traffic.

TIA,

Tom
