Princeton University's technology policies are based on, and closely related
to, the University's central code of conduct which is represented in a
publication called Princeton University Rights, Rules, Responsibilities.
Revisions to the technology policies are reviewed and approved by a
cross-campus panel including several deans and at least three vice
presidents, as well as by representatives of the respective undergraduate
and graduate student governments.
I do not think Princeton would replace its own policies with a generic
statement. However, Princeton has in its own document endorsed statements
issued by representative organizations such as EDUCOM-that-was, and has in
the past provided links to such statements among the additional reading
linked to Princeton's own policy document.
