including scans with authentication

Perhaps part of authentication for dial-ups/wireless should include a quick 
security scan.
Dial-up and wireless users should not be offering services.   You extend 
this idea to include
DHCP clients, then you could catch a lot of stuff before it was on the net 
and as an added
bonus generate a ton of calls for the help desk.

Just a thought.
