http://www.geocities.com/fcheck2000/fcheck.html is perl based. I
have it on my "test these" list so can't tell you how good/bad/ugly
it is. From my searches it was the next best thing to Tripwire for
NT/W2K.

NT/W2K

HI All,
We are look for something like tripwire to run on NT/W2K
systems. We can't afford the commercal version of tripwire so I am
investigating alternatives. I know about samhain
http://la-samhna.de/samhain/ which supposedly runs under cygwin.

There is also Demarc http://demarc.org/ (which is written in perl) --
does anyone know if it will work on MS platforms? Web site only
mentions various flavours of UNIX.

Anything else?
