UF to Host 6th Information Technology Security Awareness Day
National and state experts to provide latest computer security information

The University of Florida Office of Information Technology is sponsoring
the 6th annual Information Technology Security Awareness Day on
Wednesday, October 8, 2003, in the J. Wayne Reitz Union auditorium.

ITSA Day, as the event is known, is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The day-long program features local and national experts who will share
a variety of practical guidelines to help network administrators improve
the security of their information resources. Vendors are available in
the gallery outside the auditorium with information about their security

Although the seminars are targeted at network administrators and other
technical personnel, everyone is invited to attend, and can benefit from
learning how to secure valuable information.

Speakers from the FBI, NSA, Cisco, and IBM will be presenting. For the agenda
and other information, visit http://www.itsa.ufl.edu/. We intend to stream and
record the event; links will be published from the web site.
