Lo, Russell Fulton and the teakettle whistled in unison:

We use Sophos and ClamAV for the email servers and Sophos alone for
all the desktops. We've been reasonably happy with the speed at which
updates come out, although there have been a couple of times that I've
had to submit something I've found to them.

I wasn't part of the test, but apparently when we switched to Sophos
last fall our micro folks compared it with a few other programs
(notably Vexira, whcih we had been using) and found that it caught
more of the current stuff than any of the others they tried.
