--Sober Variant Disguises Itself as News About Soccer Tickets
(4/3 May 2005)
A new variant of the Sober worm has emerged. This one purports to be
ticket confirmations from the 2006 World Cup organizing committee. It
is particularly effective because it coincides with the availability of
tickets for the tournament. The messages about the soccer tickets are
in German; English messages accompanying the worm are related to
passwords and undeliverable messages.
