The Computer Science Computing Facility at the University of Waterloo is
seeking applicants to fill an open position.  The job description is not
entirely security, but does have a heavy security and networking component.

The hiring manager is David Gawley (dlgawley at cs.uwaterloo.ca), although

Must possess a university degree in a computing discipline together with
relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience deemed
to be equivalent. The preferred applicant will have significant skills
in the following areas: networking design and configuration; computing
and network system security; Linux, MacOS, Solaris, and/or Windows
system administration; printing management and accounting; managing
highly scalable computing environments. Must have familiarity with both
the software and component level hardware aspects of supporting
continually changing environments. Excellent organizational,
interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills along with
strong project management, research, problem solving and analytical
skills. Proven ability to learn quickly and independently. Must be
self-motivated, and possess the ability to work with a minimum of
supervision. Client service focus with demonstrated success dealing with
all levels of the IT and user community is necessary.

Pay for this posting is from $51,000 - $77,500 (Canadian) per annum,
dependent on experience.
